Odisha Premier League 2024

The much-anticipated Odisha Premier League (OPL) 2024, organized by the Odia Social and Cultural Association of Alberta (OSCAA), was held in May and was a resounding success, bringing together our vibrant community for a day full of excitement, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

2024's tournament saw four dynamic teams compete: Kalinga Knight Riders, Kalinga Super Kings, Kalinga Royal Challengers, and Kalinga Daredevils. The energy and enthusiasm displayed by all the players truly reflected the spirit of cricket and camaraderie we cherish.

A special highlight of the day was the wonderful ladies’ match, where women from our community showcased incredible talent, passion, and sportsmanship on the field. It was inspiring to see such enthusiasm and skill, proving once again that cricket is a game for everyone!

After intense and thrilling matches, the tournament culminated in a gripping final between Kalinga Royal Challengers and Kalinga Daredevils. With exceptional teamwork and resilience, the Kalinga Daredevils emerged victorious, clinching the OPL trophy for the second consecutive year! Congratulations to the Daredevils for their outstanding achievement and to all the teams for making the tournament a truly memorable event.
